Our laptop / desktop keyboards for mac don't have a 10 key and this helps enter account numbers and figures for calculations SO much easier and quicker. I really like that I can plug / unplug from either computer and I don't have to worry about installing or wait for a program to open. (Don't get me wrong, one does open the first time you plug in but you aren't required to go through the program to use it, just skip and use) And it doesn't affect your regular keyboards functionality for numbers once this is plugged in. Very happy with this little helper :)

The numeric keypad is a pretty simple item, and it was available when I picked it was ready for me at the store after I ordered it online. It worked when I plugged the USB cable into my iMac, and didn't require any adjustments. The keys are large which makes for easier use. I've only had it for a week, so I don't know about its long term durability or quality.
It was only about $20, so I didn't bother to comparison shop to see if there was a better deal. It looks very nice sitting next to my keyboard as it is in the same style and color.
